Matthew Corbett menaces Sooty, Sweep and Soo over an innocent mistake
From a child's perspective, this is how we viewed this scene. Genuinely learnt a lot from this - attention to detail is paramount. Or you'll get a scruffy jacketed Corbett snarl at you with barely contained fury.

Or 1995. Definitely from the 95/96 season, spotted are Mark Hughes, Razor Ruddock and Dennis Wise. Ref looks like Alan Brazil but probably isn't. Copyright to the respective holders.
Woolworths Pokemon Cards advert 2001
Переглядів 6 тис.7 років тому
Specifically from the 24th January 2001, the date of the recording was handily written on the VHS label. From an advert break during the Channel 5 broadcast of Cage/Connery vehicle 'The Rock'. As is the case with these old video recordings, the film is of no value but the ephemera is golden. Case in point, an advert for Pokemon Cards from the original ''no more than 151'' era.
The Kinks on the Julie Felix Show, 1969
Переглядів 5 тис.7 років тому
Broadcast early in 1969 on BBC2, The Kinks perform two tracks from the then-recently released 'The Village Green Preservation Society' album. The first song is track No.5 on the album, 'Last of the Steam Powered Trains' and the second is the third track, 'Picture Book'. A tremendous performance by the group and one of, if not *the*, last TV appearances to feature original bassist Pete Quaife. I...

Three series are covered in this spliced sequence of continuity, recorded between March 2002 and August 2004. The 'yellow' 2 idents are now in place and the show was broadcast later in the evening. Copyright of the BBC.
Malcolm in the Middle BBC2 continuity (2001)
Переглядів 23 тис.7 років тому
Roughly a year after it debuted in America, Malcolm in the Middle was ported over to UK terrestrial TV, taking pride of place in the schedules at 18:45 on Fridays, right after The Simpsons. A fearsome double billing. Assorted continuity surrounding the show in its first year of BBC broadcasting is presented here, recorded between March and August. First broadcast on BBC2 on 6th April, this comp...
The Simpsons BBC2 continuity (2003 - 2004)
Переглядів 46 тис.7 років тому
This patchwork assembly of BBC2 Simpsons continuity takes us from January 2003 through to the end of the show's association with BBC television in April 2004. Then, after several months off terrestrial air, The Simpsons returned in November but on Channel 4, and here is where the show remains to this day, 12 years later. Copyright of the BBC.

Moving into the era of the 'yellow' 2 idents. Yellow colour scheme on the channel to match the yellow colour scheme of the programme. More cut and pasting of continuity bits surrounding episodes of The Simpsons, but more often than not the announcers are referring to neighbouring content such as TOTP2. Copyright of the BBC
The Simpsons BBC2 continuity (2000 - 2001)

A cobbled together and stapled selection of BBC2 continuity around episodes of The Simpsons in the 'turn of the millennium'. There's not too much as we'd have been reluctant to use up valuable tape space with not-Simpsons material, but sometimes we didn't fancy leaving the comfort of the sofa to pause the recorder, so some ephemera slipped through. As well as the relevant Simpsons bits, there's...
BBC2 Simpsons Night continuity (23rd June 2000)
Переглядів 70 тис.7 років тому
For those that didn't have Sky, BBC2 on Monday and Friday evenings was your only chance at catching TV broadcasts of The Simpsons in the late 90's and early 00's. It's popularity exploded in the UK by the time the millennium came around, so one Friday evening was set aside to transmit solely Simpsons programming - popular episodes from the early days, an episode new to terrestrial TV (Much Apu ...
Points of View: Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow (28/09/2003)
Переглядів 5 тис.7 років тому
Aired on September 28th 2003, the debut of Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow on BBC1 prompted furious flurries of letters to Points of View about the ''offensive'' content. As far as we know, no-one kicked their telly in and sent the bill to Dick and Dom, but some parents were not happy and they were letting us know about it.

Two trailers linking between a double bill of The Simpsons. 'Comedy Night' trailer featuring a CGI mock-up of Anne Robinson and Phil Mitchell. Malcolm in the Middle trailer, a very early showing ahead of its premiere two exact weeks from this point, quite possibly its first ever broadcast.

5:05, what is sooty doing?
Wah-wah, whap-waaaaw!
I taped this and would watch it over and over.
The noise of this crash sounds violent
Does this sound almost similar to the kinks’ holiday??
could've sworm malcolm in the middle was broadcasted on sky one channel 😮
Best thing about the show, I used to switch it off after that.
Hold a chicken in the air...
TUCKER JENKINS CENTRAL
Should be the national anthem! 🇬🇧🇬🇧

Where’s Spot Book
CBBC should air this again Series 1-12
Love how deep the fish's voice is here in this version. And yeah, crazy how Spot fell in the pond right after the fish warned him not to.
3:44 Spot's mouth moves when he's finally found in the basket. Also, the one time in the British version of the series where the narrator doesn't say "And that's Spot" during after the credits.
I was first introduced to Spot through the promos on the Winnie the Pooh VHSs. Then I read the original "Where's Spot?" book, saw the "Spot Goes to the Farm" VHS, and then afterwards, I watched the "Where's Spot" VHS quite a few times often. Then years later I discovered the British version of the series and stuck with that one since.
The true very first episode of "The Adventures of Spot" series.
1:13 One of the few times Spot's mouth actually moves when he talks, besides whenever he barks. And coincidentally, it's his first line in the series too.
RIP Colin Gibb - it's so sad that he didn't get to enjoy the retirement he'd planned with his wife in Spain.
"It's there!"
Guinea Pig brought me here
This footage is reallyhigh qyallity for 1997

He had me at the tie-dyed pants. This must be Randy Newman's granddaddy.
We were the chosen generation,it’s just shame we are getting old now
25 now, and I'm currently sat on my break at work absolutely crying at this 😭😭😭
Hits it. It's a 0.3
I never got to see thomas live on CITV cause I was born 10 years later.
just his voice and an acoutic guitar....no autotune or special effects.....imagine that...
The narrator pronouncing Llanelli as Clanelli is wild
My mum forbade me to watch this programme. It was full of naughty boys she'd say and I'd be influenced. I'll never forget the sausage though
I was more of a Press Gang guy growing up. But you can’t deny Grange Hill has the best theme song.
This ran for so long. This is the 70s and it still aired when I was a kid in the 90s
My little brother and I, still play bogies. We're 27 and 26.
pity he got smakn wid Keith
Why would you miss the first phrase of the music?!
Loved the early Stones and Brian was my favorite as well as a big musical influence. However, I think that early on he dug himself such a deep hole in life that he couldn't see his way out of it.
5:35pm Neighbours BBC1, 6:00pm Simpsons, 6:20pm Fresh Prince, 6:45pm Star Trek TNG BBC2. That was the life!
1:51 I love how unnecessary it was to run at those people before screaming hahaha
0:09 Why Is Neon Ident Music Playing?
Reminds me of those old Japanese songs
This Like A Very Bad Acid Trip🤯🤯🤯😩😩😩😩😩
So much talent there. He loved performing and music more than he loved the money and attention, as long as he made a living he was happy, the total opposite of most so called pop stars. Total Respect from me
